Finca – Farm – Santa Anita is agro tourism, meaning we offer relaxation in a family and natural atmosphere, a synthesis of Salta, from the making to the way of life.

The house has the typical Salta colonial architecture: a XIX century’s old manor, wide verandahs that open onto internal flower gardens and horizons of mountains and a lake.

The family has rescued traditions and unique objects, thus being able to create the first Tobacco Museum of Argentina and an Archaeological Museum of particular importance, in addition to typical production activities such as a goat cheese farm, pepper and tobacco crops and a small but attractive collection of aromatic herbs and native trees.
All this effort has made of Santa Anita a place like no other; we have been awarded by Slow Food International for our delicious food made with the produce from our organic orchard, the celebrated goat cheeses and biodiversity conservation.

Our family has 8 members, each with a personality of their own and special skill for household tasks and guest care. Valentina, the mother, is the Chef but long before that she was an amazing cook, a virtue inherited from her family; and passed on to Paula and Josefina, the two 21 and 15 years’ old daughters, who are also good hosts. Santiago, the eldest son, takes care of general maintenance; he is a handy man, good at leather crafts. Tomás, the third son, is studying to become a Veterinary, is of course passionate about animals and loved by guests for being a great guide. The youngest sons are Lucio and Julián, who help out with whatever  they can, having very dissimilar likings and abilities.
